San Luis Obispo de Tolosa The 5th Mission, founded September 1st 1772. Named for Saint Louis, Bishop of Toulouse (France) a 14th Century FranciscanPomegranate fruit inspired by the remnants of an old orchard and vineyard at the mission.  A town plaza faces the restored church and is a center of community activities. close window
