The 14th Mission, founded June 11, 1797. Named for St. Joseph, husband of Mary, the mother of Jesus
San Jose was renowned for its orchestra and choir
under the leadership of Fr. Narciso Duran. This collage was inspired by my peaceful visit to this mission, located in Fremont.
